REAP – Regional Enterprise-Academic Partnership
Building HEI capacity by engaging practitioners in delivering online and blended learning
The REAP project, is a UL/MIC/TUS higher education strategic institutional partnership with the objective of developing:
- a best practice framework in the engagement and governance of external/practitioner tutors delivering blended/online professional education programmes for work-based learners.
- targeted upskilling to improve the quality of teaching by external/practitioner tutors in online delivery methods.
- a process for embedding “students as partners” practices for feedback in wholly online environments. This process will align to international best practice and piloted on a postgraduate professional programme within an emerging field of technology.
- innovative strategies for assessment using machine learning approaches to short answer grading for blended learning modules.
The REAP Project is funded under the 2018 HEA Innovation and Transformation call.
